Role Summary / Purpose:

As an AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving CashFlo’s AI innovation strategy. In this role, you will lead end-to-end AI solution development, build production-grade Generative AI systems, develop autonomous AI agents, and implement enterprise-grade LLM architectures that execute real-world finance and accounting workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of production-grade AI systems and applications.

Build, evaluate, and scale Generative AI and LLM-powered applications leveraging RAG architectures and agentic frameworks.

Implement intelligent document processing pipelines using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and computer vision for financial workflows.

Develop high-performance backend microservices and APIs using FastAPI or Spring Boot.

Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams to align AI capabilities with company goals.

Implement MLOps and CI/CD pipelines ensuring automated testing, model monitoring, and continuous deployment.

Mentor and guide junior software engineers on coding standards, scalable architecture, and AI engineering best practices.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative technical field.

Experience: 2 to 4 years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years dedicated to building and deploying Generative AI / LLM-based applications in enterprise production.

Location Requirement: Willingness to work on-site from CashFlo's office in Andheri East, Mumbai.

Required Skills & Technical Competencies:

Generative AI & Agent Frameworks: Proven expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), LangChain, LangGraph, RAG architectures, OCR technologies, and Agentic AI systems.

Programming & Frameworks: Advanced proficiency in Python and hands-on experience building backend APIs with FastAPI or Spring Boot.

Databases & Data Engineering: Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL) and Vector Databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, ChromaDB, or pgvector).

Cloud & DevOps / MLOps: Strong experience with major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Infrastructure as Code).

Problem Solving & Communication: Sharp analytical skills, high tenacity, and ability to translate complex product requirements into clean engineering architectures.

Preferred / Good to Have:

Experience with enterprise AI security, data privacy, guardrails, and compliance frameworks.

Familiarity with front-end integration frameworks (e.g., ReactJS) for AI-enabled applications.

Domain exposure to fintech, B2B payments, supply chain finance, or ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

Active contributions to open-source AI projects or staying at the forefront of emerging LLM/Agent research.
