Role Summary / Purpose:

As a member of the Professional Web and Marketing team, you will build digital experiences that empower businesses to discover Sonos Pro, evaluate audio offerings, register, and manage their business accounts. You will contribute directly to the professional storefront, customer portal, campaign landing pages, and lifecycle engagement capabilities, collaborating with product managers, UX designers, marketers, and technical leads.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain responsive web interfaces and features for the Sonos Pro storefront and business account management portal using React and Next.js.

Implement high-converting purchasing journeys, product catalog features, and marketing campaign landing pages.

Develop reusable components and content-driven web experiences using headless content platforms (Sanity CMS).

Integrate trial signups, customer conversion flows, and account self-service features with backend and subscription billing services.

Connect web journeys with Braze for lifecycle communications and Salesforce for CRM and customer data workflows.

Test across devices and browsers for accessibility (WCAG), performance, and integration integrity; take an active part in team code reviews and release deployment cycles.

Troubleshoot frontend defects, monitor tracking/analytics integrations, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience: Approximately 2+ years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent practical track record delivering modern web applications).

Frontend Proficiency: Solid working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, modern CSS, and React.

Frameworks: Practical familiarity with Next.js or comparable modern web frameworks and component-driven architecture.

APIs & Data: Experience consuming RESTful APIs and managing data flow between frontend interfaces and backend services.

Tools & Best Practices: Proficiency with Git, automated testing, browser debugging tools, web accessibility standards, and web performance optimization.

Location Requirement: Ability to commute and work from the Sonos Glasgow office 3 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications & Good to Have:

Experience with headless CMS platforms (specifically Sanity CMS).

Familiarity with lifecycle marketing instrumentation, event tracking, or customer journey tools (e.g., Braze).

Experience working on e-commerce flows, subscription portals, lead generation, or self-service account dashboards.

Hands-on exposure to Salesforce customer data integrations.

Working knowledge of cloud services such as AWS (API Gateway, AWS Lambda) and CI/CD pipelines.

Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and modern developer workflows.
