Role Summary:

As an AI-Native Java Engineer – Graduate Trainee, you will work on enterprise-grade software applications where artificial intelligence is foundational to product design. Under the mentorship of experienced software architects, you will build scalable backend services, design microservices, develop RESTful APIs, and leverage cutting-edge AI development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and LLMs) to build production-grade, autonomous software.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend Engineering: Develop, test, and maintain robust backend services and applications using Java and Spring Boot.

API & Microservices Architecture: Design, build, and integrate scalable RESTful APIs, data models, and microservices.

AI-Augmented Development: Utilize modern AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Gemini, ChatGPT) for coding, prompt engineering, debugging, unit test creation, and code documentation.

AI-Aware Architecture: Learn how AI-powered enterprise applications and agentic workflows operate, contributing to APIs and services that interact with AI platforms.

Code Quality & Collaboration: Write clean, testable, maintainable code following SOLID principles; actively participate in design reviews and engineering discussions.

Database Engineering: Work with relational databases, write efficient SQL queries, and design schema models.

Eligibility Criteria & Academic Qualifications:

Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, AI/ML, Data Science, or related engineering disciplines.

Eligible Batch: 2026 Graduating Batch only.

Academic Cutoff: Minimum 80% (or equivalent CGPA) across Class 10th, Class 12th / Diploma, and B.E. / B.Tech.

Backlog Criteria: No active backlogs and no history of backlogs/arrears.

Required Skills & Technical Competencies:

Core Programming: Strong foundational knowledge of Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, collections, and multithreading.

Data Structures & Algorithms: Solid understanding of fundamental data structures (arrays, trees, graphs, linked lists, stacks, queues) and algorithm complexity (Big-O).

Backend Frameworks: Basic knowledge or academic project exposure to Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or related backend frameworks.

Databases & APIs: Good understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), SQL queries, and RESTful API principles.

Development Tools: Familiarity with Git, GitHub, build tools (Maven/Gradle), and modern IDEs.

Problem Solving & Communication: Sharp analytical skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred / Bonus Points:

Hands-on projects built using GenAI APIs, LLM toolchains, prompt engineering, or Agentic AI frameworks.

Active participation in hackathons, competitive programming contests (LeetCode, HackerRank, CodeChef), or open-source GitHub contributions.

Basic exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, or Kubernetes containerization.

Technical blogs, research papers, or open-source community contributions.
