Salary / Compensation: $92,000 – $172,000 USD / year (plus comprehensive benefits and performance incentives)

Role Summary / Purpose:

As a Specialist Application Developer (Full Stack), you will develop, test, and support secure, scalable applications, workflows, services, and data pipelines for enterprise use cases across finance, supply chain, operations, engineering, and strategic planning. You will leverage modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools to deliver end-to-end digital solutions that streamline operations across L3Harris enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and deploy secure full-stack applications, microservices, and backend APIs to support enterprise-wide operations.

Design and implement responsive user interfaces, data-driven dashboards, and interactive digital workflows.

Build, maintain, and optimize data transformation logic, automated data pipelines, and multi-system application integrations.

Leverage modern development practices, including AI-assisted engineering tools where appropriate, to improve coding velocity and solution quality.

Continuously build technical knowledge across software engineering, data engineering, and modern platform-based application delivery.

Collaborate with product owners, enterprise architects, and cross-functional agile teams to translate operational requirements into scalable software solutions.

Adhere to secure software development lifecycles (SSDLC), automated unit testing, version control, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience; OR

Graduate / Master’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience; OR

In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related professional software development experience.

Citizenship / Location Requirement: Must currently reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Required Skills & Technical Competencies:

Programming Languages: Proven experience building software applications using modern programming languages such as Python, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar.

Full-Stack Architecture: Strong foundation across both frontend frameworks (React, Angular) and backend API development/scripting.

Database Engineering: Hands-on experience working with relational (SQL) or non-relational (NoSQL) databases, data modeling, and schema designs.

Engineering Best Practices: Solid understanding of version control (Git), code reviews, unit testing frameworks, debugging, and automated CI/CD practices.

Agile Collaboration: Experience collaborating in cross-functional agile/scrum environments with strong problem-solving and technical communication skills.

Preferred / Good to Have:

Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (pipelines, Code Repositories, Workshop, Operational Applications, or ontology-based application development).

Experience building enterprise ETL data pipelines or system-to-system application integrations.

Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), or infrastructure automation.

Exposure to AI/ML-enabled workflows, data analytics products, or generative AI developer tooling.

Familiarity with secure coding standards and data governance practices within regulated industries (defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or finance).
