Role Summary / Purpose:

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will work on complex, high-impact technical initiatives spanning modern data architectures, distributed cloud systems, and scalable full-stack/AI solutions. In this role, you will architect, build, and optimize large-scale data platforms, implement data pipelines, and design AI-enabled applications while providing technical mentorship and code leadership to engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Architecture & Design: Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and integration solutions. Define data modeling standards across dimensional, relational, and NoSQL systems. Architect and optimize platforms leveraging Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure data services.

Engineering & Optimization: Build and optimize batch and real-time streaming data pipelines across APIs, databases, and message queues. Maximize performance, cost efficiency, scalability, and system reliability.

Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, conduct rigorous code reviews, and champion engineering, testing, and CI/CD best practices. Drive the adoption of modern technologies such as Snowflake, Apache Spark, Airflow, and Kafka.

Cloud & DevOps Execution: Implement cloud-native solutions (Azure ecosystem preferred; AWS/GCP exposure); manage automated CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC using Terraform), container workloads, and platform monitoring.

Data Quality & Governance: Establish automated data validation, lineage, metadata cataloging (e.g., Microsoft Purview), and security standards compliant with healthcare data regulations (HIPAA, GDPR).

Production Operations: Ensure 24/7 reliability of critical data pipelines, handle complex operational incidents, perform root cause analysis, define SLAs/SLOs, and maintain technical runbooks.

AI Solutions & Modernization: Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and workflows using advanced platforms, low-code/no-code accelerators, and modern API integrations to enhance healthcare operations and decision-making.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Data Engineering Experience: 7+ years of proven hands-on experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, Python, and Apache Spark / PySpark.

Snowflake Expertise: 7+ years of deep experience working with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, Snowpipe, Streams, and secure data sharing).

Cloud Ecosystem Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience working across Azure data services (Azure Data Factory / ADF, Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2, Microsoft Purview) and Snowflake integrations.

DevOps & Platform Engineering: 2+ years of experience with DevOps tools, automated CI/CD workflows, Git, Terraform (IaC), and Docker / Kubernetes container environments.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Core Languages & Processing: Advanced proficiency in Python, complex SQL querying, and PySpark distributed processing.

Streaming & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with streaming services (Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hubs) and workflow orchestrators (Apache Airflow, Microsoft Fabric pipelines).

Data Architectures: Strong foundational expertise in Lakehouse and Data Lake architectures, schema evolution, and NoSQL databases.

Problem Solving & Communication: Proven ability to work with unstructured, ambiguous business problems, define application requirements with stakeholders, and communicate technical architectures effectively.
