Role Summary:

Yokly is looking for a versatile Video Editor & Graphic Designer who can switch seamlessly between video editing timelines and static design boards. In this role, you will work directly with US-based clients to turn raw footage, concepts, and ideas into thumb-stopping social content, brand-aligned graphics, and polished marketing collateral.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit engaging short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) and long-form videos tailored to specific platform requirements and audience behavior.

Design static and animated digital assets including social media posts, presentation decks, marketing collateral, brochures, and banner graphics.

Create eye-catching, high-converting video thumbnails optimized for click-through rates.

Collaborate directly with clients and project teams to interpret creative briefs, clarify requirements, and maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Add motion graphics, captions, kinetic typography, transitions, and audio enhancements to elevate visual storytelling.

Organize, maintain, and manage project files, creative assets, and export queues in a structured workflow.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in video editing and graphic design.

Portfolio Requirement: A portfolio demonstrating practical capability across both video editing and static visual design (submissions showing only one discipline will not qualify).

Work Setup: Must have a personal computer/laptop capable of smoothly handling video editing and rendering, along with a reliable, high-speed internet connection.

Communication: Strong English verbal and written communication skills for direct client interaction.

Required Technical Skills & Tools:

Video Editing Suite: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.

Graphic Design Suite: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva.

Design Acumen: Sharp eye for typography, composition, color theory, layout design, and current social media trends.

Pacing & Storytelling: Deep understanding of narrative pacing, hook retention, and audience engagement strategies for social video platforms.

Preferred / Good to Have:

Familiarity with Figma.

Prior experience working in an agency, freelance, or client-facing remote environment.

Exposure to AI-assisted creative workflows and generative design tools.
